This place is absolutely delicious, and it offers a number of dishes you would not find at your average Thai restaurant in CT.There isn't a dish I've had that wasn't fantastic. Be sure to check the specials before you order as they often have entrees that are very different from what is regularly featured. Be warned that when they ask if you want your food "spicy," they mean it.

This food was perfect. I went here on a Sunday night, which was surprisingly very busy. The staff initially was overwhelmed due to the sheer volume of people (we are talking every table filled and 20 people waiting at 6pm on a Sunday) but they called in back up and things got moving nicely, showing the restaurants dedication to quality, because a lesser restaurant would have just let it go. Additionally the service, despite the crowd, was very good.



Now to the main reason for the five-star review, the food. We had a large party and started with the sampler platter and an order of Chicken Wings. Everything was cooked well and was delicious. The wings were especially good. For my entree I had the Drunken Noodles which were perfect. Other table mates had the Mango Salad with salmon (raved about) Cashew Chicken (loved) and Pumpkin Curry (delicious).



The prices were reasonable, the service was good and the atmosphere was pleasant. If you want good Thai food, this is the place to go.

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED...

I chose this restaurant because I have been eyeing it for a while since they opened. The #5 rating on Trip Advisor didn't hurt either.

Greeted and seated promptly and ordered a Green Salad which was supposed to be lettuce, tomatoes and cucumbers with a ginger dressing and a Tom yum Soup to start.

Ordinarily the salad comes out first and after that course is finished the soup. The server showed up a short time later with both the soup and salad together. I had to tell her to slow down and that I was not in hurry. I ordered my salad without cucumbers since I don't care for them. I'm particular with my food and given that i'm paying, I should get it the way I order. Unfortunately what the menu says is not what the chef makes. The salad had onions and carrots on it as well- I don't eat raw carrots! Ever! I told the server that the menu did not state the extras or I most certainly would have ordered without onions. I have to laugh at the reviewer here that said "management listens"... After the server left, she came back and offered to make the salad over because what was listed on the menu was not consistent with what she brought out. "Helloooo"... I just told her that but apparently they DON'T listen after-all.

Now i'm waiting for my main course... "Healthy Thai" Stir Fried chicken, broccoli, mushrooms, green beans bell peppers and shallots. Lets see if that order has any surprises...

Thus far I am not wowed by the food or the service. Good thing I came solo. My wife doesn't care for this fare and subjecting her to this would not have been good.

My main course arrived and I must say I am equally disappointed. Words like bland, lacking-flavor and il-prepared immediately pop into my head. I have grown up eating Asian food and have had it in many restaurants thru-out my life time but to say I am extremely disappointed would be the understatement of the year. So much so that I didn't finish the meal and sent it back.

I don't think I will be coming back here any time soon. If you want to try it, that's up to you but take it from a guy that eats in about 20 restaurants a month thru-out New England where my job takes me... I don't recommend it.
