Jeff from Atlantic Stump Grinding showed up a 8:00 am like he had promised. He started with setting up safety barriers to keep debris off the house, mostly the windows and doors. Asked us to keep the dogs inside for their benefit, and got to work. We had 3 large oaks, and 2 good size maple trees with roots everywhere. For the better part of the morning he was between the grinder, the wheel barrow, and a large steel prybar working on some connecticut rocks which were grown right into the stumps. Luckily we have plenty of wooded space, so Jeff piled the mulch in a good location out of site until I am ready to spread it around my flower beds. The afternoon came quick, and in came a load of nice screened topsoil. Jeff made short work of spreading that, continued to fertilize, spread grass seed, hay and add water. The entire job was completed in a day, and it looks great. You would never believe those trees and stumps were ever there! I would strongly recommend Atlantic Stump Grinding to anyone with a stump, find out for yourself, Jeff is a good fair person.
