If I can deter one person from making the same mistake we made when we hired Ted's to install our pool, I've done my part. They don't stand behind their work or sub-contractors. Tile looks like crap, concrete is slippery when wet, cracking everywhere and it was never installed properly ....totally screwed us (they have since changed their company name). I wish I could post the pictures. After all these years... Quality my ass!!!! Still dissatisfied !!!

This was the absolute worst customer service experience I think I ever may have had. They were rude on the phone and uninterested in helping or the opportunity for new business. Do not use this company under any circumstances. They are rude and demeaning. I have heard from ma tigger PTEVIOUS customers that this has been their experience as well. Buyer beware and stay away from this company.

Based on my experience with Ted's Pools I would caution anyone from hiring them just because they handle invoicing very poorly and are very unprofessional when you question their charges. They charged me for part and service I never requested or received. When they were questioned, their response was "how would you know if the part was installed or not, you are a new pool owner?"

They definately lost me as a customer.

Ted's installed pools years ago, all subcontractors. New pool, rebar popping through plaster, cement runs on tile, water level constantly going down, after several attempts by Ted's,(and several calls) they could not fix. Ted's then never returned calls nor repaired pool. I don't believe the lifetime warranty has any merit. Owner Ted not a people person if it does not go his, the only way

My husband and I have a small backyard so we decided that we would just put a small hot tub there. We met with Peter from Ted’s Pools and he told us that we could have a pool and spa if we wanted and beautiful landscaping to go along with it. So we decided then and there to let them have full reign on how our backyard should look. Now where there was a muddy hill, there are beautiful stone steps; where there was a small slab of cement, there is a beautiful patio and the small backyard was transformed into a beautiful and breathtaking piece of heaven. Everyone (no exaggeration) comes down the stone steps as they approach and they all say it looks like a resort. Our only problem is that it is hard to get rid of our guests.



The employees at Ted’s Pools always showed up on time; cleaned up before they left; answered all questions quickly; and finished on time. They were extremely efficient and professional at all times. I highly recommend Ted’s Pool for not only constructing and advising on the pool area, but for maintenance afterward.

I hired TED'S Pools 3 years ago to build a beautiful pool in my backyard. Peter at Ted's spent countless hours designing the pool with us, and I was also able to meet with several of the contractors before ground was broken, thus giving me the comfort level I needed. We built our pool over the winter and early spring, certainly some of the most difficult conditions for pool building, and things went off without a hitch. Peter and his foreman were always responsive to my needs (and I am needy!) and the pool turned out beautiful. Even after the pool was finished I continued to have good service from the people at Ted's, including the office manager and the field technicians.



I would recommend Ted's pool to any of my friends in an instant. The comments below are in sharp contradiction to my experiences and, frankly, are difficult to believe.

Great company- top quality pool. Good communication. Everyone involved was pleasant and knowledgeable. In reading the other reviews here I am suspect of their expericence since mine and my wife's was so good.

My name is peter and I am the owner of teds pools.I reviewed what you had to say with all of our employees and we do not remember one customer over the last year who told us that we were not responsive to their questions and concerns.Every customer has my personal cell phone number and email address to contact me 24/7 with questions about their project. We work very hard at Ted's Pools to be responsive to questions from our customers. I am sorry but cannot believe that you called our office, our construction manager or myself as many times as you have written, without a response. Thirty-six years and many, many pools and happy customers later is the proof of our dedication to our profession and our pool families.

I would highly recommend NOT to use ted's pools. They are all talk and do not back it up. Their customer service is the worse. Once they get your money you will not see them again. We had alot of problems during the construction phase and Ted was no where to be found! Still to this day we have problems and no one is around to help. We have to call another pool contractor in to fix Ted's mess. His staff is unprofessional and not qualified !!!!
