My husband travels a lot for work and finds the most interesting of places. One of them would be this place. We live in Carlisle and always stay around the area...my husband convinced me to try it. I must admit I was uneasy about the appearance of the place from the outside and the inside. It seemed dark and out of place. Of course it subsided when I looked at the menu.. steak, seafood, and pasta with a wine selection I was impressed with. My husband ordered the Maryland Blue Crab Ravioli (was excellent) and I had the Filet Gorgonzola which was cooked exactly to my liking. Now I don't know when we will return but we definitely will be back.

A bug crawled out of my salad and all they asked was if I wanted another one or some applesauce. I don't think so. They told me it probably just flew on it on the way from the kitchen. I didn't see any wings. Looked like a small roach/silverfish. I don't know how that makes it any better anyhow. Nothing was comped on the bill. I couldn't eat after that. I took my entrée home but it went in the garbage. Also patio door was propped open leaving flies and gnats in. I saw other customers swatting them and there was a stink bug on my napkin. My boyfriend couldn't eat his steak, said it tasted bad. We fed it to our dog. I'm not sure it was good enough for her. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

We were looking for a burger and a beer after a 14 mile kayak trip on the river. Came to this place and thought oh well, maybe something good inside. Was it ever!!! Service was impeccable and impressive wine list and the food was off the charts. I had portabello mushroom ravioli with a house white sauce, was just unreal. From Mount Joy, Lancaster county and will be back. Mangia!!!

I live about an hour away, but this place is worth the trip. The owner brings this restaurant to life, and you really feel at home here! Don't let the outside of the restaurant mislead you-it doesn't look fancy but they have an awesome menu. Everyone is friendly and it is just a great little place!

You have to try this restaurant - drove by many times and finally stopped for dinner - AWESOME Great family atmosphere and they serve actual food - not just bar food - late !!! Great place and the food was wonderful. !!!

Well I know it wasn't lost after 22yrs of business. My fault for not lstening to friends telling me to go for years. What great food selections, for all tastes, the seafood was very very nice. I learned that the very fine sauces and creams were prepared on site. Ample portions, still needed a cary out bag. The bar has a full selection of Tapped and Domestic and Imported and hard to fine Stouts. The Wines are in a class alone, very nice. But the best was the Raspberry Mead, wow. Real napkins and table cloths. Never made it to the deck. This place is now on my list of have to go eating spots. When in doubt about anything as the twins or the owner Lou.
