The National Cat Protection Society (NATCAT), a nonprofit, no-kill cat shelter, has been dedicated to the protection and welfare of cats and kittens for 42 years. Founded by the late, career humane officer Mr. C. Richard Calore, NATCAT shelters owner-relinquished cats in Spring Valley and Newport Beach, provides lifetime care for retirement cats and educates others in the community on how to humanely treat all animals.
