Provided by YP.comIf you what the complete dining experience - great food, ambiance and fantastic customer service, keep looking.
The food was delicious. The kitchen staff demonstrated that they appreciate serving the customer and providing a gastronimcal delight. Their efforts are wasted as the wait staff's lack of consideration or concern for service leaves one with a terrible case of indigestion!
The restaurant wasn't overly crowded during our 2pm lunch, yet the service was non-existent. Not one drink re-fill during our 3/4 hr wait for salads, sandwiches and calzones. Plates were delivered 15-20 minutes apart for no other reason than we requested individual checks.
The salads were crisp and were dressed with well balanced flavors, the sandwich was full of delicious Italian meats on a fresh baguette and the Thai calzone was visually appealing as well as appealing to the palate.
So if food is your only concern and you can overlook the rude, brash and inconsiderate attitudes of the wait staff and owner, be forewarned and try to enjoy. Otherwise, I suggest BJs on Balboa Pennisula for a relaxing Italian meal.
