Avoid at all costs. Almost too many mistakes to count. Added a two bedroom addition over our garage. First mistake was framing the double window in the front of the addition offset from the center of the garage door - looked stupid. Midway through the project, he "discovered" that since we were adding living area above the garage, code calls for fire-rated drywall on all walls of the garage. So, since the original plan was to just put the peg-board back up, he would have to charge us extra. Then, after his drywall finisher screwed us out of 2 days of painting time, he got surly when we told him he wouldn't be able to start trimming when he planned to. Damn near killed myself trying to get it painted in time. And the trim job, what a work of pure incompetence and laziness. A baseboard joint in the middle of a 6' long wall. Hung two doors the wrong direction. Unfortunately, I'm running out of space to fit it all in. If you want careless, sloppy, lazy work, he's your man.
