We have had a positive experience at Villari's. the instructors are wonderful. They do a great job creating a fun but structured environment. The kids learn so much more than karate. I would recommend it to anyone.

My daughter started karate at vilaris when she was almost 5. We could see considerable difference in her confidence and ability to express herself in a group. The three rules that the program emphasizes on , are pretty much inclusive of all the dos and don'ts of good behavior. The masters are energetic and friendly but also have good control over the group.

The marital arts program for toddlers are well designed and executed.

The Masters are experienced and knows the balance of having fun/interactive/self defense sessions. Kids have fun and likes to come to class.

My son was having some difficulties with attentiveness in kindergarten, and frankly, I wanted to have something for both of us to do to stay fit as well. In the spring of 2015, I signed my then-5 year old son and myself up for a 4 or 6 week trial at Villari’s Martial Arts in Newington, and it turned out to be a great decision.



Not only did my son’s teacher see a noticeable shift in his behavior over the weeks that followed, but my wife and I also noticed the lessons he learned in the studio affected his behavior at home, too. We’ve also noticed he just seems to be a little stronger and doesn’t get tired out as easily – good for his little growing mind and body! Needless to say, it was an easy decision to start our little spitfire of a 4 year old last month, as Master Gray, Mr. Gagnon, and the rest of the instructors do an excellent job of providing a healthy, constructive, and safe environment for our kids to learn, grow, and have fun.

This a Great School that really takes the time to monitor your Child's progress. They are exceptional for small kids as well. A lot of Schools can't be bothered with the little ones , but they are the Future for any School. There are Instructors who Started when they were kids....that says a lot.

We started coming to Villari's to help my 5-year old son get some exercise and learn to focus before starting kindergarten. I see improvement in him every week, but I expected that. What I did not expect was that my shy 8 year-old daughter asked to start classes as well, and I am so thrilled to see her grow and gain self-confidence. The instructors are so good at maintaining high expectations while remaining positive and encouraging.

My daughter has been going here for a year and has learned so much! This place is awesome and has the greatest instructors! My daughter has grown so much here and has overcome a lot of her fears since she started. She looks forward to each class and seeing her instructors and friends.

Fantastic Studio, Fantastic instructors!! I take pride in telling people my child attends Villari's! They show and teach great skills as well as show continued support to their students inside and outside the studio!!

My kids have been going to Villari's Newington for a few years. What a great place!!! The instructors are awesome and they provide a fun environment for the kids. They are very professional and organized. I would highly recommend Villari's Newington to anybody.

My family has been a part of the Villari's studio for almost 2 years now. The experience has been phenomenal. Master Gray and all the teachers do an amazing job engaging large groups of children, keeping the learning challenging and fun. I love how they teach my boys about respect, self discipline, and self control and what they mean both in the studio and out. It's great to watch their self confidence grow as they practice standing in front of their peers and leading an exercise.

I highly recommend Villaris to anyone. The instructors are very helpful and professional. They make it really fun for the kids as they teach. My son has been going for a few years now, and it's made a drastic change in him. He loves it and he looks up to all of his instructors; especially Master Gray.

I began classes at Newington Villari’s as an alternative to a gym membership and because my son takes classes there. My participation in adult karate has opened up a whole new side of the mother/son relationship. My seven year old is several belts ahead of me and really enjoys practicing with me and helping when I forget material. We have both grown in our ability to listen to, learn from and support one another. As a single parent, quality time with other adults is a rare commodity; this class has introduced me to many new friends, both instructors and adult students, with whom I enjoy laughing and learning. But for me, the most important aspect of karate at Villari’s is the first few minutes of class. We greet one another and settle into a moment of silent meditation. The intent is to close out the stresses of the day and simply focus. It is the beginning of 45 minutes that are all about my personal growth and physical fitness. I don’t often have the opportunity to take time for myself; Villari’s Karate reminds me that taking care of me is an important step in being a good parent and they have created a family focused environment that is a welcoming and safe for my child while I do just that!

My husband went through the Villari's Martial Arts system back in the 90s and had an extremely positive experience with it. Fast forward to today and my boys have been going to the Newington studio for almost 8 years now. It has definitely played an important role in shaping them to be the confident, respectful, and focused individuals they are today. Master Gray helps focus the students on being the best they can be in a manner where they can carry it outside the dojo and into their daily lives-school, home and other sports activities. Also, he is very open to working with the kids who do have other activities, such as sports etc. so they can do both. He wants the kids to be as committed to the program as he is.

Best place in Newington for karate hands down! We have been going to Villari's for 7 years now and I can't even tell you all of the benefits my son has received. If you are looking for a great activity for your kids, look no further!

Villari's in Newington is awesome! My husband, my kids, and I all take classes and we love it. Great workouts and a really positive experience for the kids.

Our Son Rithik started learning Karate when he was around 5 years of old. After trying out a couple of Marital Arts centers, we chose Villari's for Rithik because he liked Master Gray right away and from the first day to till now he never wanted to quit from there. Master Gray's dedication and discipline makes him a perfect guide for students. All other staff who works there also have same kind of energy and personality which makes the kids feel comfortable and confident. The classes provide not only the physical education but also increase kid's confidence and improve their behavior too. The center keeps good communication with parents and have clinics and family nights which keeps them stay connected with all Villari families. The Villari's annual tournaments and graduations, and Black belt club personal classes are awesome. Rithik is a second degree brown belt now and we can't wait to see him getting a Black belt soon.

We love Villari's! My children have been attending for about 3 months now and I have seen a huge improvement in them socially and also in their confidence. Master Gray and all of the instructors are fantastic and I would highly recommend Villari's Newington to anyone!

My entire family takes classes at Villari's. It is a fun, family friendly atmosphere with knowledgeable instructors. The change in my kids and in myself since starting here has been amazing. We all love it!

My Son Advaith recently joined Villaris Karate classes in Newington.

He has been a little on the shy side till now. I see a huge difference after he started taking lessons here.He Has become more daring and physically active .

I had enquired in a couple of other places to enroll my son before I came here.But nothing stood out like this one.

Master Gray is very good with the kids.He communicates very well with them.He teaches them self control and discipline and also enforces self respect.They are learning something more than just Karate here.The kids learn to be more confident.



I am a picky mom and I want the best for my son and Villaris is one of the best choices I have made for him.; so for all picky moms and dads out there I would

definitely recommend this place.
