While the fish is fresh, the portions are generous, and the price is good, they have a problem with customer service. On several different occasions, we were ignored as we sat at the sushi bar. It was very frustrating trying the get the sushi chef's attention and if we didn't yell out we couldn't get another order in. Then, half of the time, if we were able to put in an order, it was forgotten. On our last visit recently, I ordered something off the menu (not the all you can eat option) and when the bill came they charged me $4 more that what the menu said. When I pointed it out, they said the price had gone up and the menu I used in front of my seat was wrong. Instead of honoring their old price that I saw, they made me pay the higher price (about 45% higher) and made me feel like it was my fault that I had an old menu in front of me. They should have honored the price I saw. That would have been the right thing to do. I will never go back dispute the good aspects of this restaurant because of how they treated me and how they made me feel.

akasaka is the very best fish santa clarita has to offer in sushi. they have all you can eat and it is a very fair price. the fishe is so fresh. on many accounts i have been in when they are cleaning the fish and get it fresh. the sushi chefs are very fun and know their stuff. the owners are very nice people. and to top it all of its close to home.
