My husband booked our 3 year old's birthday party at Echo Lake Stables. I was skeptical because I had never been to the stables before. The facility was immaculate and landscaped beautifully. We had our own fences in the picnic area with shade. The pony, Chocolate, was really cute and friendly with the children. Chickens wandered into our area and we even fed them cake! The staff was really good with the children and very helpful. We got some wonderful one-of-a-kind pictures also. This place is a hidden gem for a different kind of birthday party.

For months my friends have been trying to get me to go to Echo Lake Stables and I wouldn't go . I've never been on a horse before and I was terrified. My friends have ridden here many times and they always seem to enjoy it so reluctantly I gave it a shot. I was shaking when I got on my horse. I believe it was the owner who put me on. I can't remember her name but she was a blonde. Before the horses even went on the trail she took the time to make sure I was comfortable with everything I had to do. I must admit, I was frozen for the first 10 minutes of the trail and if it wasn't for the trail guide I may have stayed that way. She was helpful, courteous and patient. My friends and I had such a great time. Before I knew it the hour had flown by and I found a new hobby. We did see some animals on the trail but the horses weren't phased by it at all. I'm not surprised - after all, it is the mountains. They probably see animals all the time. I felt safe. The trails are beautiful and I'm told

STABLES ARE VERY CLEAN AND WELL KEPT STAFF WERE VERY INFORMATIVE + NICEHORSES WERE AWSOME WE HAD A GREAT TIME. THANKS FOR A GREAT MEMORY. R.J.L.
