Provided by YP.comI have found the owner and desk to be friendly, professional and actually rather easy to deal with. Internet is not free and this is both stressful and expensive. One time Spectrum was there and the connection was out for almost a day and a half. Fortunately the providing company is always super nice and they worked hard to give us a refund. There are both guests and "county" residents at this Inn. In either interaction with anybody be extremely careful and never let your guard down, even just in friendly fashion. One person tried to get into our room and another pressured us to leave our pets with them. Rather than report them to owner or law enforcement and possibly create a worse problem we probably just won't go back. Which is disappointing because in many ways this hotel isn't a bad bargain. Rate sure skyrocked since just last year though. Lobby still wasn't open. Mainentence does a good job but pool man was not user friendly. ALOT of strange folks on this property and they will act like you know, love and trust them so think of yourself and be sensible. Don't know just hiw philanthropic the "county" people are though as we called one listed on the Ventura flyer and the man was almost antagonistic. Guess the "residents" stay gratuitously as well as long term so if you do have a problem with them you may have to double back on your local lodging options, if you need near 100% certainty you won't be victimized by somebody. Keep your property secure and DON'T answer questions as to the value of what you have, nor leave your animals with anyone! This is a good enough hotel though and their prices still are not yet egregious.

Provided by YP.comI STAYED HERE IN JANUARY 2020 & MY CARPETING WAS SPOTLESS AND MY ROOM SMELLED CLEAN AS COULD BE. THE FRONT DESK CLERK AND THE MANAGER GAVE ME EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEY HAD ALL THE AMENITIES INCLUDING A FRIG AT NO EXTRA COST. THERE IS SHOPPING WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE AS WELL. I WAS PLEASANTLY SURPRISED AND WILL ALWAYS STAY HERE WHEN IN THE AREA. GREAT STAY AND GREAT VALUE. I TOTALLY RECOMMEND!!!

The place was dirty. My husband put towels down on the carpet so they wouldn't have to walk on it because it turned their socks black. The black seeps through when you get it wet. My husband said the clerk was very unprofessional. The next day the boys went out for the day. When they arrived back at the hotel, they had been locked out of their room, the groceries they had purchased for the trip had been thrown away and all their belongings shoved into plastic garbage bags, including a very expensive piece of medical equiptment. My husband was humiliated and had to return to his room carring all his belongings in a garbage bag. We had payed upfront for this room so everything was paid for. They said they were sorry and it was their mistake but offered no real compensation. As it was my hubby had to rerent the room for the next night. We got a good deal from priceline and the manager said they would give us 15% of our stay but I checked the receipts and they did not.
