We hired Accu-Tile to help and guide us through a total renovation of our home in the Town of Newburgh, which included demolition and re-construction of all walls, floors and ceilings, a fireplace, kitchen and bathroom. The renovation took 11 months. Rich Quilles, the owner of Accu-Tile, couldn’t have been more helpful or easier to work with. He was always available to us. Rich brought in a crew to do the demolition and help us select the perfect floor: a porcelain tile that looked like wood. The bathroom tiles we selected from his samples are just beautiful. They had a wonderful selection to choose from. The granite for our kitchen countertops is beautiful. When we explained what color granite we wanted Rich search and located a piece of granite in New Jersey. He brought it all the way to Newburgh to show it to us and it was exactly the color we wanted. We also selected stone for our fireplace from an amazing choice of samples.
Not only are we completely satisfied with the materials, we are extremely satisfied with the quality of the workmanship used to install our floors, bathroom tiles, marble bathroom vanity tops, fireplace, kitchen granite and backsplash for our kitchen. Everything was cut and fitted perfectly.
We were so happy with Accu-Tile that we hired them the following year to install granite for our outdoor kitchen. One again, they did a beautiful job.
I strongly recommend Accu-Tile.

Hire someone else. Terrible customer service. Rich will try to smooth talk you and change dates with poor excuses.

Do yourself a favor an stay away.



They are coming today maybe tomorrow perhaps at 9 nope 10 ooops truck broke down cant make today! In two weeks at 9 uh nope maybe at 4? This is the kind of service which you will receive and which I received before I had enough.



As for the tile install beyond bad. Fact tiles were installed uneven and one tile was cracked. Fact one of the tiles is still slightly uneven. Fact one tile was chipped tile was not replaced since they used the two tiles that we had. Fact we now have no tiles remaining. Gee since when does a contractor under-order tiles for a job? Fact there are sections of grout some 3 inches in some sections from the boarders as the tile was not properly lined up to minimize the gaps.



I will be conveying these facts to the better business bureau.



In the meantime save yourself the aggravation and go to someone else who cares about their business.

I wouldn't even give this business a one star but I had to give one to write this review and hopefully it will help people to make the right choice. Absolutely the worst experience ever! If I had to do over again I would rather go to Home Dept or Lowes. The most un-reliable un-responsive guy. Oh he'll come and take your deposit and will be absolutely the sweetest guy ever. But once he gets your money you will have to constantly call and try to get him to send people to do the work. He'd either lose your phone #, or he'll give you his cel # and then will say oh I lost the phone that's why I didn't call back or his people will come at 9am. 9am no one shows up and no one will call you to tell you that. Then you call him and he'll say oh they'll be there sometime after 12. Well, no one shows up ANY time after 12. Then he'll say or tomorrow for sure. Tomorrow comes no one shows up again and on and on it goes with the excuses and me taking time off. Then when someone does show up the work is done absolutely horribly! And he never shows up to fix it. After dragging for 2 months a simple job that should take no longer than 2-3 days max the job is never finished. I had to fire him and now I have to look for someone to fix the miserable job he did. The bottom line is if you want a bad job and be aggravated Richard is your guy.

Had a bad feeling from the get go on this poorly run business but they had the stone I wanted. This place is underserving of one star! The worst in the business! We brought overpriced tile and a bathroom vanity of super white quartize. After them booking three separate dates for install and canceling last minute or just not coming, we asked for our money back on the vanity. They claimed it was already cut and we could not get our money back. Then the installer (who was very nice) said he cut it an hour before the install. This was one of several lies they told us. Lynn the reception feeds you lies just to get you off the phone. Even claiming that you are written on the schedule. I am sure Rich 'the owner' uses her as a scapegoat for his poor business ethics. They will put you on the backburner until you threaten to go elsewhere. Rich is a smooth talker that will never give you a straight answer. Just ask him yourself for a price on something. He will not give you a straight answer. It changes Everytime! We did a huge kitchen renovation through New York Granite ( cabinets and counters) and it was a smooth and legitamate process. Go there.

Absolutely the worse place I have ever dealt with. I purchased Granite counter tops from them and they did a really crappy job. First they tried to give me two different pieces of granite and tried to convince me that they were from the same slab when they were not even close to being the same color when I wouldn't accept it in my kitchen they ordered me a new slab and then made me wait two and a half weeks longer than I was suppose to to install it. They also installed the kitchen sink which now leaks and only put a screw in one side when attaching my dishwasher so now every time i open it it moves. They never came back to fix any of these problems. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. They do make you feel like you are getting a good price but you get what you pay for....cheap horrible work!
