Edwards Elementary School, founded in 1990, is affiliated with the Newberg School District. Located in Newberg, Ore., the school provides a variety of educational and cocurricular programs to more than 500 students in grades kindergarten through five. It offers various programs, including English, arts, music, science, social studies, mathematics, and computer and physical education. Edwards Elementary School also provides reading, writing, spelling, computer education and instructional support programs. The school physical education programs focuses on various loco motor patterns, including walking, running, galloping, skipping, sliding and jumping, and applying them to a variety of sports activities, such as basketball, volleyball and tumbling.
