Provided by YP.comOn a Thursday evening in September my wife and I arrived at Fornos of Spain and were told we would have to wait 10 to 15 minutes. We went to the bar and had a drink and waited. Well after an hour I went to the girl seating people and asked her what the problem was. She said they did not have an open table. I then asked to speak to the manager.I told him had they told me it was going to be an hour to seat me I would have gone elsewhere. We were finally seated in a table for six for the two of us. The service was very cold and impersonal. The food was good.

Provided by SuperpagesAny time I hear about Newark, I remember this restaurant. About five years ago, I went to Newark for business. We stayed at the Hilton by Penn Station, a questionable part of town, but it was close to the office. A small group of us started walking down the street because there were several restaurants there to choose from and we ran across Forno's and decided to have dinner there. The food there was very, very good. I had the chicken and sausage paella and we shared a pitcher of red sangria. Recently, I had an opportunity to go to NJ again, this time, to Elmwood Park. Since we needed to fly into Newark, I decided to stay in a hotel in Newark overnight, just to go to this restaurant again. I was not disappointed. Before they brought us our menus, they brought us bread, olives, salad and a wonderful garlic bread. We got a pitcher of sangria, and appetizer and our dinners. Needless to say, we had enough food to feed ten, not just two. I will go to Forno's everytime I visit.
