EmailOwner and stylist Ryan Pawlowski had an idea for a salon and barbershop that reflected his sense of style, creativity, and joie de vivre. He found a space, designed an interior both rustic and elegant, and hired a team of fresh, talented stylists. To infuse the shop with good memories and an air of whimsy, Ryan took a page from his French class during study abroad when students were learning "pomme de terre" - French for potato, literally translated "apple from earth" - and called it DirtyApples.
