Provided by YP.comFood Emporium looks super clean on the outside and it is actually a place that I was about to devote for all my grocery needs after moving into the neighborhood 4 years ago.
As an individual who is sensitive about our environment, I recycle all the bottles that I used. And so I bring them to Food Emporium and they have the recycling place in a little room with the door shut, and it smells like nasty bathroom that is infested with flies and some other insects. It makes me feel nauseous every time I decided to do some good deeds for our environment.
If it's so nasty in there, who knows how nasty the food storage place is like. DOH, please check this place out.
And when I brought my bottles for recycling, majority of the customer service representative was like, "this is not their job," like as if recycling is something of a low class thing that they don't want to touch.
The customer service desk never have any attendants that we have to wait forever just to get one or two bottles recycled.
After going through this, I am boycotting Food Emporium.
Overall, it is nasty, smelly, with insensitive customer service. Key food back in Queens have the recycling place in the open where it's super clean and everyone who works in the store are responsible for it. This is totally unlike Food Emporium
