Rudolf Steiner School, founded in 1928, is affiliated with the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America. It is accredited by the New York State Association of Independent Schools and Association of Independent Waldorf Schools. Rudolf Steiner School provides academic classes to more than 300 students in prekindergarten through grade 12. The school features a science laboratory, woodworking shop, theater space, and crafts and visual arts studios. It provides coaching and training in a variety of athletic activities, such as soccer, volleyball, basketball, softball, and track and field. Located in New York City, Rudolf Steiner School maintains a debate team and chess, drama and outdoor clubs.
