Mount Sinai has a generally good reputation and the following comments are ment as a caution about there referrals. the hospital referred me to an "allergist" who claimed injections of toxic chemicals and sublingual neutralization with tintures of these chemical was a safe effect treatment for my allergic migraine (diagnosis by head of headache unit of another hospital). I checked out the treatment with several other hospitals/ center for allergy and imunology and finally the new york state department of education. Non indorsed the treatment and several stated it was dangerous and ineffective. There are good and bad doctors at this hopital don't assume the doctor is good because of his affillation.
