I never got this kind of shave in my life! I acutally felt like I was in a spa like enviornment! At Antonella's Barber shop Michael gave me a haircut and about a 15 min shave! He took his time and did an excellent job! My face never felt so soft and smooth. I will definatly be coming back!

That was an interesting and costly experience. First I'd like to be clear that it sees the employees at Antonella's seem very well-trained and professional.



I was immediately invited to the shampoo station. Received my shampoo. Received my haircut. That was fine. The shave was what was interesting. I've never had such an elaborate and time-consuming shave in my life.



First, he put shaving cream on my face. Then he put a hot towel on my face and wiped most of it off. Then he put more cream on. Then he began to slice. After he sliced most of it off, he put another hot towel on my face. Thought I was done, but nope. He put more cream on and began to slice more. After many minutes passed, he rubbed some type of gel on my face and began to shave every single solitary hair left on my face until my skin was aching and raw. This must have taken 15 minutes in itself, and there was no shortage of him pausing to give me other treatments, such as placing another hot towel on my face (OUCH!), putting talc powder on my face, then rubbing it off and putting some sort of ALCOHOL based on treatment on me. That REALLY stung. Finally, he rubbed some more stuff on and finished off with more talc powder. I also got a gel treatment.



I've never had someone so intimate with my face before. The cost? A cool $67.00 total. I was shocked. I just wanted a hair cut.I gave a $15 tip because they did good work, but that's salon-like pricing.





Fortunately, my face never felt so good before :-)
