I have practiced urology in the Lehigh Valley region for more than 30 years, with extensive experience in the treatment of general urologic diseases, including kidney stones, erectile dysfunction, prostate diseases and bladder dysfunction. My specialized interest is in microsurgical vasectomy reversal. After earning a bachelor of arts degree in biology from the Cornell University in Ithaca, NY, I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine on a United States Air Force scholarship. I had my preliminary general surgery training also at the University of Pittsburgh, and completed my urology residency at the State University of New York (SUNY) – Buffalo General Hospital and Roswell Park Memorial Institute and Cancer Center in Buffalo, NY. Serving two years in the United States Air Force Health Service as Chief of Urology at Luke Air Force Base Hospital in Glendale, AZ, I received the United States Air Force Commendation Medal. I received my American Board of Urology board certification in 1982. I am a fellow of the American College of Surgeons in which I was also recipient of the resident's research prize. A member of the American Medical Association, Lehigh County and Pennsylvania Medical Societies, I also belong to the American Urological Association. Now that my wife is retired, we have time to visit grandchildren in Palmerton, Wisconsin, and Germany. We also have traveled to Europe as tourists and are making the rounds of national parks as well.
