The battery and starter when out on my honda They replaced the starter with an aftermarket brand (not O.E.M.) Two weeks later the dashboard alerts lit up with flashing check engine and V.S.A. Car went into limp mode, unable to go over 20 m.p.h. I had the car towed back to them. They said it had two ignition coil bad and needed new spark plugs as well. This is a very well maintain car with low miles. Engine error codes on my scanner were p0300, p0302, po303 po339. Another tow job. They replaced the parts putting the total cost at $2000.00. Two weeks later same engine error codes and limp mode. Another tow job and $200.00 for cranksenor position sensor. Did alot of internet research on the combination of these codes and discovered that this is common in honda that have a recently installed (AFTERMARKET) starter. I reached out to the manager with this factual information which included a Honda Service Bullitin. He said it was impossible for the starter to be responsible and "dont believe those guys on the internet! He was very dismissive and tried to gaslight me. He wouldnt even consider reviewing the information. Said he had 15 years experience. Two weeks later same engine codes popper up. Another tow job.This time the manager said one of his guys probably forgot to do a crankshaft senor relearn procedure to update the computer with new part. Got it back and two weeks laterl.... you guessed it! Same engine codes. I get my car back tomorrow from the Honda Dealership with a new starter for $1100.00 and a detailed report from a certified honda master mechanic to present to my attorney He told me not to ever use aftermarket starters or spark plugs in a honda with a detailed explanation. We will compare the technical specification on the aftermarket one with Honda specs once its out because The American Auto Maniger was not willing to provide any info.

I showed up to American auto tire & service with a tire almost flat. They were very friendly and fast, and I was able to get four new tires and an alignment, and back on my way..
I would definitely recommend them to anybody that needs tires or service. They also had a very nice waiting area with comfortable seats to relax and wait.

Rick and the guys at American Auto are always go above and beyond to help me out. I trust them with all my car care needs. They always have the best deals on tires and have in house financing when money gets tight. Waiting room is always clean and comfortable. If I can't wait they always arrange to get me home.

Thanks to American Auto and the excellent service, my car is now safe on the road. I did not realize how much was wrong especially my brakes. Thanks to Scot the Service Manager he had a full diagnostic done, explained it to me in terms I could understand, and made arrangements for me so that I did not have to sit and wait while the work was completed. Wow what a difference when I drove my car away, it felt like I had a new vehicle and felt all of the work they did in the performance of my car. Please do not wait as long as I did to get your car looked at, I will never wait that long again due to the risk that I now realized I took. Thanks American Auto

A friend recommended American Auto to me after my car wouldn't start one morning when leaving for work.So I called them and they sent a tow truck right over and got it towed to their shop.I sat in the customer waiting area for maybe five minutes when the service mgr told me that my car was ready to go.I couldn't believe it, I asked what was wrong and he told me that they reset an inertia switch in the trunk.I was amazed,I was thinking I was going to spend alot of money to get my car fixed.The only thing I payed was a tow bill.That was very honest work.Don't see much of that anymore,I know where I'm taking my car for now on.

a grate experiance , a grate staff to help me in the time of need. willing to go the extra mile to help me and my family , when we had a unexpected brake down. good prices and a very impressive waiting room , it was nice to sit in a waiting room, with fellow custormers. and feel comfortable to hear them talk of there grate experiances at American Auto. . thanks again for the grate service

WOW What a grate shop . thay are very frendly and very porfessional. thay take care of my neigbors car. I just moved to New Smyrna beach, and ask a couple of my neighbors recommandation of a honest car shop . and several people i spoke with even at the food market , said to go to American Auto. wow thay were right thay treated me like a freind. i felt as though i was a valued customer. and what a grate feeling. . I really like New Smyrna beach. and look forward to going to a Shop , that i can trust.

i agree american auto, has been grate to me and my family. thay have always worked with us with there in house fiancing. and are very trustworthy . tire kingd__.quoted me one price and then when i got there it was a compleatly differnt price, NOT at American Auto. thay dont play those games. I trust and will always go to American Auto. i would give ameiran auto a 10 star if i could.
