Derrick Construction has been an absolute headache to deal with. From shoddy workmanship across multiple trades to sending suspected drug users (their words) to our home to do repairs after we've moved in; our list of complaints is endless.Our custom build with Derrick was horrendous. Not only were there too many problems during the construction process to list here but they are unfamiliar with setback requirements, which is critical for a builder to know. We have a side door and ledger board that is useless because it is too close to the lot line for us to put our deck. Derrick should have known about this and they should stand by their product. Now they are not getting back to us about how to remedy this problem. Unethical and unprofessional. Don't believe that they want their customers to be satisfied - - they won't even return our emails to get this corrected. Find a different custom builder!
