Special Creations provides a variety of gifts created by our clients that work at The Magnolia School. We offer a unique selection of original artwork, handmade jewelry, gift baskets, floral arrangements, garden plants and decor, as well as many unique home decor items for every occasion. Each item created is specifically designed to allow our adults to work on items for sale in the gift shop as a way not only to earn additional income, but also become involved in activities with their peers and co-workers to further develop the own personal skills. As a non-profit, all purchases our customers make help to continue the momentum of success we are so proud of here at Magnolia. Please allow us to help you with all of your shopping experiences, as you in turn help our family at The Magnolia School. Founded in 1935, The Magnolia School is a private 501(c)3 non-profit organization providing supports to adults with intellectual and other developmental disabilities. We offer supports and services in nineteen group homes, supported community living, a vocational/day habilitation program, and supported employment. Our main campus is located on eleven acres of the grounds of the former Whitehall Plantation facing the Mississippi River in Jefferson, Louisiana. Our group homes and supported living apartments are located in residential neighborhoods throughout Jefferson Parish.
