Cahn, born in Osyka, Mississippi, started the company in 1917 to distribute various supplies for the sugar mills, farms and other industries in the Louisiana and Mississippi areas.In the 1950s and 1960s our business and interests shifted to distributing cutting tools and machine tools. Since then, Dixie Mill has represented the best cutting tool and machine tool manufacturers in the world. We are proud distributors of Mazak machines and Sandvik Coromant tooling, along with many other world-class products. Our job and mission are to be a high quality resource to the machine shops in our two state territory.
