Provided by YPmobileWell the appetizers were nothing special and they get a moderate OK rating. After the appetizers is when we had serious issues but to the management at Bayona I guess it wasn't, you be the judge! A big cockroach runs across the table and our settings while a waiter is right at our table, it gets knocked onto the floor where one of the waiters picks it up in a napkin. It is then reported to management where we are told they would speak to us but no one ever came. We picked at our food from this point on trying to save any last hope of having a nice valentines day but it was ruined. Waiter comes with the check and we pay it in hopes of having someone at least speak to us and or apologize for the issue, that's all we asked for but no one ever did. What we should have did was make a big debacle of it when it happened for everyone else to see but we didn't because we did not want it to affect the other patrons Valentines Day Dinner. We weren't asking for anything free just an apology but that never came. I feel they don't care about their customers and this shows the type of place this is. Maybe next time it will be you , maybe the roach will be in your food and you never know, they wont care either. What a JOKE!

Provided by SuperpagesOne of the most pleasurable dining experiences I've had. Very friendly staff. I was lucky to be seated as I had not called ahead (note, call ahead!). I enjoyed the cram of garlic soup, grilled Sheepshead (fish) w/pecan rice, asparagus & citrus brown butter sauce, french bread with olive oil and cranberry beignets with white chocolate sorbet. Lovely setting in a renovated Creole home on Dauphine. Even saw the divine Ms. Spicer herself. No complaints about the meal, but I was caught off guard by my waiter nonchalantly scraping crumbs from my spot at the table. I don't get out to the fancy places often! ha ha ;-)Great unpretentious service, would love to dine again when my low carb diet can accommodate the splurge.
