Brookhaven Heart is an adult cardiovascular practice also located in New Hyde Park, New York, and was started in 2006. From the inception onward, electronic medical records and electronic prescriptions were incorporated into the practice, a first for a cardiology practice in the area. Over the years, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services have rewarded the practice consistently for participating in Physician Quality Reporting System and achieving standards well above the national average.
