The doctors and staff at New Haven Pet Hospital are wonderful with the animals they serve. They are very kind and compassionate, you can tell that everyone who works there loves animals. Our dog is alive because they discovered her underlying heart condition and there is a medicine to treat it. Very reasonably priced too. We are very blessed to have such a great group in New Haven, Indiana. I highly recommend their facility, you will not be disappointed.

We've taken our dogs and cats to Dr. McKaig for probably 20 years now. The staff is always friendly and helpful, including giving us tips to help us work with a rambunctious pup we rescued a couple of years ago. Our pets have always gotten excellent care, and our questions have been answered honestly and completely. Each time we've faced the difficult task of saying good-bye to our canine or feline friend, staff members have been sweet and compassionate, knowing what a difficult decision it inevitably is. We've also boarded our dog there, and though nothing beats "home" for him, we were given a tour and an explanation of the care he receives on the rare occasions we need to leave him. Highly recommend New Haven Pet Hospital. Though we see Dr. McKaig, I have full confidence that any vet who joins his practice is excellent, as well.

I switched to this vet from another in the area about 2 years ago and have never been happier! My dog is doing so much better with the care provided at New Haven, the last vet had pretty much written me and my dog off, or so it seemed. After a couple of "tries" to solve a skin issue we were no closer and I wasn't really given any more options at the last vet. At New Haven all my concerns were addressed and my dog is on the mend! He hasn't looked and felt this good in a long time. I am so happy with these people, the Doctors and staff are wonderful!

I've been taking my cat to new haven pet hospital for the past 5 years and each time I take her, she is just so scared but the staff there seems to really know how to handle her without hurting her and making her feel comfortable. I would really recommend this place to take your pets to.

Love the Doctors and staff here! They are very caring and compassionate. I trust any Doctor that Dr. Mckaig chooses to bring in, as he would only hire the best! Clean and inviting office

I love the staff and veterinarians here... they seem to care greatly about your pet and you! I am not sure why anyone would have anything bad to say about these wonderful vets! I have seen the same people there for years which makes me feel very comfortable!

The staff was super friendly and really knowledgable. They took the time to teach me how to best care for my puppy as it grew up. My appointment was a great experience!

The office staff is very rude and they are not good with the animals would not recommend taking my pets there....horrible grooming, very unprofessional!!

We have gone to New Haven Pet Hospital for a while now with our two dogs. At first, they were great, not too pricey and really nice girls on the staff. We took our male dog to have surgery (a small tumor removed) and the estimate they gave us was $130 cheaper than they actually charged us. This wouldn't be the end of the world if they could explain these charges. When we called to find out what the difference was, they put the actual vet on the phone. He immediately had an attitude and said he has never had anyone call to ask about charges. He then told us he would refund money without us asking but treated us like we were trying to get something for nothing. He said to come back next week to get the stitches out and he'll refund our money and "we can both move on with our lives" !!!!! What an inconsiderate person! I would do anything and pay any amount for my pet (as most people would). But I won't pay for things that are not required and I won't pay more than what is fair and reasonable. I have no problem with this vet office for routine visits, but we'll be going somewhere else from now on!

A very friendly place to take your pet. Our dog Lilly had a open wound on her front legs that she would not leave alone. The service was on time a priced fair and most importantly Lilly was back no normal in a short time. Thanks to New Haven Pet Hospital.

My vet moved to a new building and I didn't want to make the drive so I went to new have p.h. because I live closed. I was not pleased with the way they treated my dog. The seemed afraid of him and held him too tightly when giving him shots and taking blood, I have never seen my dog react this way to anyone he was beyond nervous. I feel like the staff judged my dog based on his breed not his temperament. I was very displeased with my visit and will never go back.

I highly recommend New Haven pet hospital. They did a wonderfull job keeping my very nervous dog under control while he was getting shots.
