Decicco's is pretty much the only gourmet supermarket in the area. It is of course smaller than the chain supermarkets and more expensive, but the service and selection is unmatched. Some people are more about getting the cheapest price and willing to compromise on service and selection - Decicco's is probably not for the coupon clippers, although good deals can be had. You know what I hate? Waiting in line. The phenomena of simply walking right up to a clerk is rather limited to Decicco's because when a line of roughly 3 or more piles up, they open another register! What a novel idea! I love that! Take note, ShopRite! The hot bar is an amazing array of home-made goodness that will leave you wondering if your grandma has a secret job working in the kitchen. It feels good to be able to support a family owned business in an ever increasing world of corporate monstrosities, and I never say things like that. Try the zeppole aka little pillows from the Gods and lasagna will change your life...in any way layered pasta and cheese can..

Great selection, quality, and excellent service. You'll pay more but it's worth it.
