Please stay away from this funeral home, they are crooks! My dad pre-made and pre-paid funeral arrangements in 1998. He was so proud that he wasn't leaving that burden to his children. My dad got dementia and had to go on Medicaid. I had to sign his life insurance policy over to a funeral home. Before I signed this over to them, I spoke with the then funeral director Orbie back in 2015, about my options for this insurance money, since funeral had been pre-paid. He pulled up dad's chart and confirmed that the arrangements were pre-paid he said money from the insurance could be used to upgrade on things. I wish I would have gotten a copy of that chart, because when dad died in September 2016 I had to deal with new funeral director named Larry. When dad died we went to the funeral home to go over arrangements. No one said they were sorry for our loss. Everyone we encountered was very non-empathetic and rude. When we sat down with the funeral director Larry to go over dad's arrangements, I was ready to talk about upgrades, to spend down that $11,000 policy, that I paid $87 a month to keep up for years, and Larry said there wouldn't be enough money for my upgrades. I about fell on the floor when Larry informed me that my dad's funeral was pre-arranged, but he had no documentation that it had been paid for. Apparently Orbie took that documentation with him after he verified that it was pre-paid just the year before. Thank the Lord that I paid the $87. a month to keep that insurance policy up, or I wouldn't of been able to pay for a funeral for my dad. I also had to pay 2016 prices for the funeral, not the 1998 price when my dad pre-arranged it (and paid for it). We had a fire a few years back, so I didn't have the pre-arranged and documentation that it was pre-paid. So, long story short, I had to pay those crooks again. Since I had signed the policy over to them, I had no choice to proceed with the funeral there. I will NEVER go there again to have a funeral.
