I love going to this salon. It is very laid back and not snooty. And they do an excellent job with hair. I have been to both Michelle and Amber and I always am happy with the results. I get cut, color, and a blow out. My mother goes as well to Amber and there is a reason she keeps returning! My father goes to this salon too! He gets a hair cut from Gay or Billy. And my brother goes to Michelle also and has always had a good hair cut. I highly recommend this salon and they were also recently renovated. And I have never had hair under my chair or seen it left there after a hair cut. And sadly there was a dog there, a small almost hairless one actually, that had passed away and was definitely not dirty.

After being to many beauty salons in New Bern this one was the best. I have never gotten a bad haircut and the prices are fantastic as well as my hair stylist, Jamie. The environment is clean and everyone is so friendly. You cannot beat the prices and the outcome of the new look. If you are looking for a great hair stylist Jamie is a great one, she is great. Before going to Tangles and Knots I went to another hair stylist and my hair got butchered from lack of knowledge. Tangles and Knots and Jamie helped get my hair healthy again. I would recommend it to anyone.

Great hair cuts, friendly service. Not nearly as expensive as Dun'Arte.
