Founded in 1926, St. Paul Education Center offers education to more than 160 students in pre-kindergarten through eighth grade. Its academic curriculum includes language arts, mathematics, science, social studies and physical education. The school has a library and media center that provides curriculum-related materials and a variety of free reading options for students. St. Paul Education Center offers various athletic and extracurricular activities, such as basketball, cheerleading, scouting, parish choir, and literary, drama, newspaper, math and science clubs. It is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and is a member of the National Catholic Education Association. The school is sponsored and supported by St. Paul Catholic Parish and is located in New Bern, N.C.
