It seems James and I have polar opposite opinions about our experience working for RHA Behavioral Health in New Bern....even though we worked there at the same time.

Working for RHA was one of the best work experiences of my 40 year career. The entire staff is upbeat and hard working. They are extremely caring about the population of individuals we serve. When first employed, I wondered how everyone could be so good humored! There is so much success, and some heartbreak, achieved it keeps most everyone on the up side.

The Director is supportive and will do her best to juggle personnel to keep them employed during required state funding shakeups.

There will always be complaints - with good reason - about pay scale at a non-profit. But much was asked of us and usually offered back in spades. Training is continuous.

I would recommend RHA/New Bern to anyone who wants to make a difference and is ready to keep up with the fast pace.
There's never a dull moment in this field.

Lousy company to work for. Hires bullies who harass other employees which is condoned by management who typically takes the side of longer term employees. Employees stab each other in the back. Most employees lack professionalism and sabotage new employees due to their inferiority complex of other more qualified employees. Employees mistreat clients and speak terribly about them behind their back. Inappropriately IVC's clients to make job of ACTT team easier on a weekend and lies to get an IVC to the magistrate.
