My daughter had her wedding ceremony and reception at Cedar Glenn Country Club in New Baltimore Michigan. We were promise to have access to the facility the night before for the rehearsal, dinner and decorate the hall. Upon arrival there was another function in progress. We had to wait for the people to leave.

Finally got started. We spoke to the owner regarding the day of the wedding and confirmed the ceremony was at 4:00 and dinner at 6:00 pm, The owner tried to say that the ceremony was at 5:00pm and dinner was at 7:00 pm. That was not what we agreed to when we rented the venue. Then the owner proceeded to state that there was another function earlier in the day of the wedding, when we were clearly told that we would be able to get into the venue at 2:00pm to finish decorating the hall and finish dressing for the ceremony. We arrived at 2:00 and the previous event was still in full swing and we had to finish setting up the tables, the candy table and the Bridal Table. We waited for them to finish and before we knew it at 3:15 pm, they were doing a raffle, after the 6th one, we just went out to finish decorating and did what we had to do.

The ceremony was 15 minutes late in starting.

When it was time to serve dinner, The Bridal table was served first which is customary and next the Brides parents table is served, well we weren't. The parents of the groom was served then the rest of the guest were served. After waiting for 30minutes, still we were not served our meal. We had to ask to be served. All the server had to say was, I feel bad, can I get you another basket of rolls to make up for it. The same thing happened with the serving of the cake. We were forgotten and once again had to ask for our cake to be served to us.

The Brides bathroom was reserved with a sign up stating that fact. When I went to use the bathroom there was a staff member in there, which I thought was unsual since we had all our personal items in there. I see no reason that she should be in there.

There was a gal behind the bar complaining to me how tired she was and was in pain, because they were short staffed and was working several 12 hour days in a row. That is something she should be complaining about to me.

If it hadn't been for a large group or family members and friends, the hall would never been finished in time. Even though ceremony started 15 minutes late.
