Founded in 1996, Hunter-Kinard-Tyler Elementary School serves students in prekindergarten through sixth grade. It is a rural school that is located in Neeses, S.C. The school offers gifted and talented education programs for identified students in grades three through five. In addition, it provides special education services, including resource specialist programs, special day classes, language and speech lessons, and adapted physical education to students with special identified needs. Hunter-Kinard-Tyler Elementary School features an arts prototype program that includes components of visual arts, theater and dance. It also offers a variety of after-school programs and enrichment activities, including chess, drama, magic, martial arts, pottery, dance, art, photography and knitting. Hunter-Kinard-Tyler Elementary School is a part of Orangeburg Consolidated School District 4.
