My car's check engine sign was on last week so I took it to Tom's auto services for a regular check. They were supposed to diagnose what was wrong with the engine and inform me of the issue. That was the only service I requested. However, after checking the engine, they turned off the check engine sign without my permission. I was not told until it was done. And it was too late. My cars powertrain is still under warranty so I can take it to the dealer and get it fixed for free. However, without the check engine sign on, the dealer won't fix it. It would cost $1000+ to fix it and my warranty will expire in a few months. They told me they could not fix it and ask me to take it to the dealer. BUT THEY TURNED OFF MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT!!! How can I get it fixed without the light on??? Its not their first day in business and they should know the consequences of what they did to my car.
