If you are a client of Mr. Taylor and had problems with his work contact the Better Business Bureau of Charlotte. He has an "A" rating, but sure as hell doesn't deserve. If you are an employee or previous employee of Mr. Taylor and are not receiving wages for work performed call the Department of Labor for NC. They know him REALLY well.

Lawrence Wallace Taylor was recently arrested for communicating threats ( the is the 2nd time I know of). He has also been arrested for refusing to work after paid.. and for larceny! (You can check this on the charlotte mecklenberg sheriff website)Lawrence Wallace Taylor still owes me money for (for 4 years now) for work I did for him.. I scheduled appointments for him and followed up on the appointments when he tried to say he would pay me commission only. Come to find out - one of the folks I scheduled an appointment with is one of the folks that filed a complaint for refusal to work after paid! STAY AWAY!! Not only will he not pay you - he will take from the customers you schedule him an appointment with! DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH THIS PERSON!

Customer BEWARE

Heaven help you if you hire these people. I made the mistake of letting these people into my home. I had a tough time getting them to finish the job. After the solicitor called me FIVE times asking if I wanted a FREE estimate I agreed. I made the appointment, they were 2 hours late making me miss another apoinment. They were very unprofessional and when I asked the overseer to take care of the problem he began a shouting match with me telling me it was not his problem and that now they had started they would finsih the job at THEIR convienence not MINE! It took them 6 weeks to complete 2 rooms of painting. Then I was left with a lousy job that I am ashamed to let my neighbors see. My husband is now repainting those rooms himself. Please, do yourself a favor..............HIRE SOMEONE ELSE!!!!!

I use to work for this company... It is horrible. Call the Better Business Bureau and complain. This company has an "A" rating but doesn't deserve it.

This company is horrible

This company sets up appointments for a FREE estimate then includes that cost in with the price when work is complete. Not only that, they hardly show up for work on time if at all. When they do show up they are unorganized and messy. They drip paint everywhere and leave it for the customer to clean up and the quality of work is trash! There are paint drips all down my walls and trim work is messy. I will NEVER use them again and highly suggest that no one else does.

I too was hired by this company and after 2 weeks was told I too would be paid on commission. When I was first hired I was told $10 a hr for the 1st 2 weeks, $15 a hr for the next 2 weeks, $20 a hr for a month, then $25 after that. We went over all paperwork of his and then he proceeded to hand me a notebook and asked me to put my name, address, ss#, # of dependents and phone # I would be making my calls from. Starting my first night at the end of my shifts he would belittle and degrade me if I didn't have any appointments but if I did he was as nice as could be. At the end of my 2 weeks is when things drastically changed...he stopped calling me AND stopped answering my calls. After about a week he finally out the blue called explaining why he was swapping me to commission and I tried explaining that I wasn't hired that way, he then hung up and I haven't heard from him since! DO NOT WORK FOR THIS MAN OR HIRE HIS COMPANY TO DO ANY WORK!!!! BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE.....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS C...

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!!!

This man is a TOTAL SCAM!!!!

I was also hired to do the same work. I was also told the same salary. I have worked two and a half weeks and was told I would go from salary to commission only. I told him I was not going to work 8 hours a day for free. He told me I lacked the speaking skills to do the job. I asked him to get another employee whom he brags about to call me and help me figure out what I was doing wrong. He told me I would be charged for this. I thought training was a part of EVERY job. He wants to hire you and get you to do the job for a few weeks and then he'll degrate you and not pay you. If you had any appointments set up for him............he gets the business...........you get NOTHING!!!!!! I would not let this man into my home to paint. If you do something could go missing. He will NOT take my calls so I also don't expect to get paid. God help him if my husband sees him!!!!!

mad employee

I was hired by this company to make phone calls to see if anyone wanted to set appointments. I was told I would make $10.00 per hr for the 1st 2 weeks, then $15.00 per hr for the next 2 weeks, then $20.00 per hr for a month then $25.00 per hr after that. After working for him for almost 2 weeks and only getting a few appointments set, I was told I would be paid on commission only. Now he is refusing to pay me for the hours I worked. PLEASE no one accept a job with this company! When you talk to him about paying you he hangs up on you. You will never get your money out of him. When I told him he is required to pay me by the labor board he then tells me I am contract labor. I gave him my SS number and how many dependents I claim for him to take taxes out. I am not contract labor.
