We hired Talcott home repair and they were the first handyman to work on our house. He was on time, courteous and did very high quality work. He was well prepared and we are ready to hire Talcott for our next home repair. I would highly recommend Talcott to work on your home.

For over a decade Jim Talcott has performed outstanding service for us. He is conscientious, skillful, and thorough. Jim has completed a number of quality jobs: Basement renovation, ceiling tile replacement, gutter covering installation, exterior and interior painting, cabinet installation, locksmith assignments, power-washing of house exterior and patio surface, out-door shed refurbishing, garage floor waterproofing, garage wall repairs, step construction to family room, with platform construction for garbage receptacle, and storm door installation.

Jim's work is beyond reproach.

I've known Jim Talcott for years. He's done lots of work on my neighbor's house and mine. He's an expert carpenter and painter but will do most anything and do it well! The last project he did for me last summer was to rebuild my screened-in porch. What I like about Jim is he always has ideas to improve the project---problem solving for me when I haven't a clue. An example on the porch: used cedar which is termite resistant because this area is historically an old apple orchard and sized the door opening so it would take a standard size door which saved me money not needing to custom design a door.. He also put in a new ceiling when mine proved unpaintable! Things I would never have considered and it looks great a year later!



He's an honest man and I can leave the key with him so I'm not stuck at home when he's working. That's just a huge bonus. He also sticks to his estimates. Hire him and you'll never regret it!
