Being a military family, my children see lots of dentists all over the U.S.A.

My daughter is 7 years old and was always happy going to the dentist. The first problem I had was that I was not allowed going with her to see the dentist. Nobody had told me that when I made the appointment, or when I arrived. I also didn’t feel comfortable not being there with her, since I had given written permission to restrain, use a loud voice, etc. The only reason I let her go inside, and not walk straight out of the office was because I know that my daughter is very well behaved and can handles pain very well (plus it was only a check up and cleaning). After she was done, she came out with tears in her eyes. I don’t know what went on, all I know is that she refused to go back there again. The other thing I don’t like is that I don’t know (since I was not allowed in there) if they did what my insurance paid for.
