I recently had a large laurel oak tree die in the middle of nicely landscaped shrubbery surrounded by three other large live oak trees. Based on a good review at Yelp, I called Stafford and asked if it was possible to take out the dead oak without damaging the landscaping. Frankly, I couldn't see how it could be done, but I had a lot invested in the landscaping and I wanted to at least attempt to find someone who could remove the tree with minimal damage. Stafford came and said they could remove the tree with no damage to the landscaping, and they quoted me a reasonable price. Today, they did the work and, as just they said, they were able to remove the tree with no damage at all to the landscaping. Watching the work done, it was a masterful job by some highly talented people using a crane that could lift large portions of the tree over and around the live oaks. From this experience, I can tell you that Stafford is an excellent tree service capable of doing quality work which I feel is better than what you would get from other tree services. (I've used several other tree services in the past.) I will always be using Stafford from now on.

Had Stafford Tree Service out to do a large oak removal as well as some other trimming. WOW! What a great job they did. I can't say enough good things about this Company. It's so nice to actually have the owner out on the job making sure everything is done the way it should be. They did a great job of cleaning up and everyone worked so hard until the job was completed. Very impressed!

Phil did a fantastic job removing a tree for us several years back. Living out of state it is often difficult to coordinate having work done but not with Kelly & Phil! From start to finish they make it easy. Phil has since been back two more times for a cleanup and stump removal. Very professional and it is so nice to be able to count on him! You won't be disappointed!

I had 3 enormous oak trees that were diseased and had to be cut down. Stafford had the best price and the best service. When they were done, they left the property in immaculate condition. You would not have known that such major work had been done. Phil and Kelly are amazing. Not only are they highly competent, they are genuinely nice people who go the extra mile to provide great service. I highly recommend Stafford Tree Service.

Phillip was very knowledgeable and polite. He explained everything he was going to do for us and went above and beyond my expectations. It's not easy finding a tree service that will do what you want done in Pinellas county and not get ripped off. My trees in my Tarpon Springs home were so overgrown, it took them 2 days to trim all my trees and take out 2 trees.They are professional, knowledgeable, fast and cleaned up everything. Would highly recommend them and I will use them again in the future.

WHAT? ONLY 5 STARS?! Stafford Tree Service deserves a 10! There are not enough superlatives to describe the type work they do. Professional, dependable, knowledgeable and thorough. From my initial contact with Kelly for an estimate to remove my 80' oak tree; to their exit with the owner, Phil, stopping to pick up an empty water bottle he found in the grass; the experience was amazing and painless! Phil helped me out of an awful situation I had gotten myself into offering a shoulder to cry on, advice on how to recoup my financial loss as well as giving me a price break. The workers were neat and clean; friendly and polite. Each had a job to do and they all worked continuously until the job was complete. Tree removal and pruning is dangerous work and can be a real financial liability. It is important to use a company you can trust and depend on. As far as I'm concerned, there is absolutely no better company to use than Phil, Kelly, Tony and Matt at Stafford Tree Service.

We had Stafford Tree Service come out and trim our oak trees on the property. They did a great job on our trees. Our oak trees look beautiful! I never realized how nice our trees would look after being trimmed properly. I went with Stafford because of the nice reviews he had from previous customers... We will use them in the future and refer them to our family/friends!!

I don't ever do online reviews, never wanted to take the time to do it. I decided to write a review for Stafford Tree Service because I was very impressed with the work they did at my home. Very friendly crew, showed up on time and did a great job on my trees. I will use them in the future and will definately recommend them to family and friends. I went with them initially because I had difficulty getting other companies to even show up for their appt. Phil came out and give me an estimate and his pricing was very fair so I decided to use him, and Iam happy I did!

We needed an overhaul on a property we just purchased. This home was a short sale... the trees and yard was overgrown to say the least. Not being from here, we did not have any connections in the tree industry. We went to yp.com to find some quotes. Phil with Stafford Tree Service came out and gave us a great price. He showed up on time for the appt. Two of the other trees services called never even showed up. We decided to go with Stafford Tree and we are happy we did. They kept us informed, pulled our permits for us... no charge and last but certainly not least they did a great job for us and went above and beyond what we expected. Would definately recommend this compnay to anyone.

My boyfriend has been working very hard for my mom. He had to cut down a huge pine tree and tear up an asphalt driveway to prep for a cement driveway. He was working for days and had blisters on his hands. There were monstrous roots in the way and he was running out of time because it was Sunday and the cement pour was planned for Monday. Anyway to make a log story short we needed a stump grinder on the spur of the moment and so I went on Google searching and Stafford Tree Service & Stump Grinding, Inc came through for us. Phil was the guy who came out because he was close by working on another job. When he was finished he came right over. He is a good man. The woman who answered the business phone made it all happen. She was so polite and understood that we were desperate to get some help. So I thank them both so very much for a job well done. We highly recommend this tree service.

Very courteous, attentive, helpful, honest, and ethical. They trimmed a tree that was not on the work plan and they told me I would not be charged and I was not!

Stafford Tree Services & Stump Inc removed a very large tree that had overgrown the space available. The tree was less than five feet from the house and there were a number of other trees close by which made the extraction seem difficult. No damage to deck, house or neighboring trees leaving a beautiful light filled front yard.

Stafford pays incredible attention to detail and understands what trees need. He helped me figure out how best to care for an old stand of evergreens that had not been well maintained in the past, and did a highly detailed pruning job. My yard is so much happier now!

We had our trees trimmed and one hazardous removal taken care of by Stafford Tree. We were extremely pleased with the work that was done. Our trees look beautiful now and we no longer have to worry about the hazrdous oak that was overhanging our roof. We were very pleased with the clean up. They paid special attention to make sure it looked like they were never there. I would recommend them to any of our family and friends!
