Started to buy 2 tires but bought 4. The next day, I took a close look at the tires because I had a little shutter in the front end. They replaced two tires and put them to the rear because they had to beat out a dent in one rim which I know can never be perfect so that is the place for it. The front two tires were the same two from the rear I drove in with which were in pretty good shape. WHAT????? I'll be seeing them today but from what I'm reading on the reviews, that will be a waste of my time. I'll update the post after I revisit them today.
Update - when I showed the manager the problem, he apologized and made it better than right. He replaced the two front tires with new tires or tires that were as close as you can get to new without actually being new. A couple of General Tires with full are almost full tread. Care is riding great. He apologized again before going on to other customers.

UPDATED POST: I posted a good review of Cyrus/service at Spalding Tires in July 2014. Because I work from home and travel out of state for long periods of time, I have only put approx 3,000 on my car since July 2014. I took my car in for service to another mechanic closer to me who has a great reputation and he found so many issues with my tires, balance, springs, shocks and struts that I was sick. The worst was the engine mount block that Spalding told me they replaced, but was actually just glued back together. I spent $842 on repairs Spalding claimed to do and they claimed they did not charge me for all they actually did. 3000 miles and $1,300 later, I have a car with a new tire/undercarriage components that have been pointed out to me and my car actually sits up higher and drives smoothly at 85 miles per hour. I am so sorry if my 2014 post brought new customers to Spalding who ended up getting burned. CYRUS AND THE MOTLEY CREW AT SPALDING TIRES: SHAME ON YOU!!!!!

On dec. 31 I went there for 4 tires and a aglinment they put 4 different size tires on my car they were too big, they was not balanced the first time I pulled off with the tries I got on the hwy up to speed and the car was shaking bad I return there within 20 mins I was told that the man in charged had left that quick I explain to him that there is something very wrong at first he told me I would have to come back when I refused to leave he decided to look at the car he then took the two front wheels off took the into the shop came out with them and said the problem was he for got to put on balance,I left again the car was dragging when I make a turn, I went back he then refuse to talk to me. they measure the tire area with a measuring tape one by one and call that a alignment.....waitin for my day in court

Never met someone with such a attitude towards customers worse I have ever been treated by any business owner I told him what I thought about him and left but I'm beyond angery

I had an alignment done and bought two used tires. Two weeks later the steel belt was showing through both of the tires. I returned demanding they replace them. Of course, they refused. I asked for the owner or manager and I was told he could not be contacted. Basically I was ripped off and my family was put in danger because of the inadequate service and shoddy tires I received at Spalding Tires. I wouldn't recommend this business to my worst enemy.

Bad Business! I went to this establishment to get two used tires and left with a broken tire monitor, a missing hub cap, and a car that sounds and rides like a truck. They refused to reimburse or repair the problems. Please do not go to this business. You will spend more money on repairs than what you save for buying used tires. I wished I had read the reviews below before going there.

Unprofessional, very rude, when I called and asked for a detailed breakdown on charges the man was extremely rude on the defensive from the time he answered the phone, my son in law took my car there was charged 124 dollars for 1 new tire, instead of a new rim they beat the dent out of the rim, last year at another tire store I payed 237 dollars for a set of 4 new tires, spalding tires ripped us off also hung up on me when I asked why it cost so much, customers service there is awful, the man that put on my tire was so ugly to me, never could explain to me why it cost almost 130 dollars for 1 tire and beating the dent out of a rim. What a rip off this place is, with the ugly attitudes, and rediculous prices no wonder they have so many bad reviews. PLEASE IF YOU WANT TO BE TREATED WITH RESPECT AND HAVE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES I WOULD ADVICE NOT GOING HERE,TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ANYWHERE BUT HERE!

I bought tires from this place when it was time to pay for the tires the guy told me to go get cash they take credit cards and he wanted me to go get cash.the next day three out of the four tires was absolutely flat come to realize the tires are dry rotted I called back up there to have the tires replaced and he told me the tires are fun is something I did this guy is unprofessional and he needs to be out of business please do not go there and spend your hard earned money at this place.it was hard for me to write this review because I did it on my cell phone and the box was very small Saudi may be some misspelled words please forgive me but like I said do not go to this place.

I just got the tire today, within a few hours it is flat I took it back they said they couldn't find anything wrong with it! So they put air in the tire and told me they would charge to take donut off and put tire back on! I will never buy a tire from there again

My wife went there for a hole in a lawn mower tire. They charged her $22 to put a plug in a slit, which obviously didn't work, and for a new valve stem. Upon calling around, a brand new inner tube would've been $29, and an inner patch and stem should've only run about $18 maximum. When I called to inquire about the price, the guy that answered told me that they don't do lawn mower tires. Hmmmmm...

Savannah tire..spaulding tire is what gives tire companies a bad name. Tire is separated in two places, bead torn w/cut on inside sidewall. The tire was also the wrong size. Our son needed a tire and cheap. U get what u pay for and sometimes less, like unethical! The tire blew out the same day, when we looked at the tire it had a cut (gouge) in the tire rim. We took the tire back, Syrus-the owner - did not offer to help until he found out my son was in the military, then he offered a spare. No explanation for the cut. So my husband went to talk with Cyrus who claimed the rim was bad and he was the only one who had the right size. Come to find out the tire was also the wrong size

This place is absolutely terrible!! I bought a tire and it went flat the next day!!! Tire looked good to the eyes but hell i'm no tire mechanic!! I'm a women investing my money in a business in which unfortunately I am assuming is going to do good bye me. Dam Lie!!! They don't care about nothing but taking your money!!! TERRIBLE!!!!!!!! Don't even deserve a 1 star but unfortunately yp won't let me post without it!!

DONT DEAL WITH SPAULDING TIRES , THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF NO MATTER WHO YOU ARE... THEY WILL BUY USED TIRES THAT LOOK PRACTICALLY BRAND NEW FOR 50.00 AND TURN AROUND AND SELL THEM FOR 250.00 DOLLARS. AND HE MAKES HIS EMPLOYESS (WHICH HALF OF THEM ARE STRUNG OUT ON DRUGS, AND ON PROBATION) WORK 12 HOURS A DAY, 6 DAYS A WEEK, AND HE ONLY PAYS THEM UNDER 50.00 FREAKING DOLLARS. We spent 2000 dollars on a rebuilt transmission and less than a month later we refusses to honor the warranty. He drove our car around all the way to thomaston and had his gf in our car running errands. Definely taking him to court. If u had been ripped let me know... I am meeting with a lawyer

Business doesnt even deserve one star... took my 2012 grand Cherokee in to get a tire put on and they carved the crap out of my 20in wheel... i went to talk to the owner at a different location where the owner acted like a district manager and said the owner was on vacation for the holidays... after the holidays i called over and over and ask for the owners... they say hes not there and i ask for a number or the owner again and they just hang up the phone... bout once a week i do this... currently im in VA about to leave for Afghanistan and he knows this because i told him i was in a hurry to get it fixed... he does not know im still in the states and will be home for a week before i go... either lawyering up or im gonna have some fun of my own.... either way... i will win...

If anyone needs tires or tire work done, stay away from Spaulding Tire in Griffin, Ga...My middle son bought some tires for his Jeep and took them to Spalding Tire to have them put on this weekend..He paid 60+ dollars to have this work done (not too bad I guess) But as he was driving his girlfriend and her cousin home hours later, around 1 am his front driver side tire came off and he slid 100 or

more feet, the tire rolled off the road and took out a sign, my sons rotor and brakes were ruined and THANK GOD my son, his gf and her cousin were not injured..My Son of course, tried to contact the owner (they are open 24/7) a couple hrs later he finally gets a call back from the owner, who tries to suggest that my son had done something to cause this accident..Anyway, said owner agrees to fix my sons rotor and brakes..It took 2 days (waiting on parts and so called welding) One would think it would be a priority but my Son was told they only do tire work on Sundays...Anyways my son went out of town so it was up to me to face the man and his lackeys who could have killed my son from shoddy workmanship..I was nice at first, until he tried to blame my son for his tire coming off....The so called "competent know-it-all owner" said-Uummmm he should have noticed something when he left our lot, his rotors were old and his lug nuts were rusted, his tires are too big for the vehicle...Hmmmmm if they were too big, why did you agree to mount them on the vehicle??? Rusted lug nuts???? Hmmmmmm, What vehicle doesn't have some rust on bolts and such??? Rotors old??? There was barely 2000 miles on the brakes and rotors which my son recently replaced..I guess he saw a lady come in and figured I was ignorant and had no clue that him and his lackeys was really the incompetent ones...So I proceeded to inform the nincompoop that the rotors were barely 6 months old and the lil bit of rust that he showed me was laughable and Tires too big??? Really??? I won't even bother to answer that one...Anyways I asked for a receipt for his shoddy work and he refused to give me one..Basically blew me off told me he was done with me to "try" and help the next costumer in line...The owner being so smart, I guess thought I would put up with that too..I strongly informed him that I was not finished and demanded that he speak with me...I again asked for a receipt for his shoddy work from mounting the tires to the rotors and brakes...Which the unfriendly jerk informed me that he didnt have to give me a receipt, that he paid for the repairs and that he didnt give receipts for labor....I of course had a problem with that and informed him that he just didnt want a paper trail for his shoddy work and his inept employees and he better Pray to God that nothing else happens to my sons Jeep...I left without a receipt but left a parting remark to a potential customer in the lot about his shoddy workmanship :) Anyways just don't take your car to SPAULDING TIRE IN GRIFFIN NOT ONLY ARE THEY INCOMPETENT BUT THE OWNER IS A TOTAL AND COMPLETE UNPROFESSIONAL JERK..IF YOU GO THERE JUST HAVE SOMEONE ELSE CHECK THE WORK FOR YOU AND PRAY BEFORE YOU GET INTO THE VEHICLE!!!

Worst tire shop in the area hands down. Never buy tires here .

DO NOT GO HERE. They quote you a good price then jack the price up $5-$10 for no reason after the work is done. The don't balance the tires. The tires are dry rotted and most are not even legal to be driven on GA roads(>2/32"). On top of all that, the people in the shop probably couldn't even tell you the tool they were using, let alone put the right size tire on you vehicle. (took them 4 times to finally get it right and I had to do it for them I finally got so fed up). Save you money and go somewhere else like Holmes, Amigos, or any other place in town where they will get you a good tire and get you in and out fast.

SORRY A** PLACE i paid them $1100 for a lift kit and 4 new firestone tires.they said it will take 1 day.instead,3days later,i go pick up my truck and instead of getting firestone tires they put on tires called national.the owner said there made by cooper,there not.their a cheap brand of tire.also,they said they lifted my truck,and they didnt.but they still charged me for it.im gonna make every effort to spread the word about how sorry the place is.
