Smith Industrial Service was established in 1969 and continues its steady growth. The formation of Smith Industrial Service was an outgrowth of an affiliation with Roto-Rooter Plumbing Service. Smith Industrial Service is a cleaning contractor headquartered in Mobile, Ala. SIS has a large contingent of equipment and personnel along with several branch and onsite locations, with backup support provided by the an assemblage of industrial cleaning resources on the Gulf Coast. SIS is an active participant in the value improvement and cost reduction efforts at numerous chemical, pulp and paper, petrochemical, refinery, steel, asphalt, automobile, roofing, plastics and other manufacturing facilities across the Gulf Coast. Its industrial services include dry vacuum work, high velocity sewer jetting, specialized hydroblasting and wet vacuum work. Its municipal services include video pipe inspection, sewer jetting, bypass pumping, smoke testing and mapping.
