My 16 year old daughter had worked & saved $5000 to buy her first car when she got her license. These guys said that they had the perfect car for a young driver. They took deposits to get the job going and about 3 months after she got her license, she finally got the car and gave the balance of the $5000 to them. They had "verbally" guaranteed the car for 6 months, but within 24 hours (less than 100 miles), the car blew up. They said that it was "her" fault because she should have know that when the heater had stopped working that she had continued to drive it. I'm not a mechanic, but I also would not have thought that the heater not working would have caused the car to blow up... They have made some repayment to her, but it's been about 6 months and they're still jerking her around. My daughter has learned some valuable life lessons thanks to this experience, but I wish that she had a better memory of her first car!
