We are a program that uses well trained animals designed to fit the needs of nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, detention centers, hospice care facilities, residential care facilities, assisted living facilities, day care centers, schools, short term care facilities, Alzheimer?s facilities, and special education facilities. Our pet visits are given in common recreational areas or in residents own individual rooms to generate a smile, laughter, good memories, moment of joy and comfort. Our animals offer entertainment and a welcome distraction from pain. Animal visits give residents something to look forward to. Animals are known to reduce high blood pressure. There?s evidence that petting an animal causes endorphins to be released which is known to suppress pain responses.
