I have two Great Granddaughters. I have discovered that there are many, many books for youngsters where the protagonist is male. Far fewer books with a female shown as a leader and strong character are available. I have written 4 books for my family with effective females lead characters --- I'm sharing my books through Amazon's ebooks. Cost only $4.88 for 13 exciting, compelling chapters, no objectional material, OK for kids from 4th grade and up. Adults like this story, also. Very good for a calm-down-before-bed family read-aloud session
