On the phone he promised to install a water heater up to code for $597.00. With all the extra charges the bill came to about $787.00. Initially he claimed that Pima County tax rate was over 9%. I checked on that before the job was completed and found it in fact is 4.6%. When I askede him about that he acknowledged that "I saw my accountant today and he said the tax was 4.6%". I believe he would have charged the higher rate had I accepted his first story. After the job was done there was still water around the heater the next day. When my wife called him about it he quickly said it was the a/c (which was in the same area). We called the a/c repairman he said that the outlet on top of the concensation pump was broken off and that it was "big coincidence that it happen at the same time as the water heater was installed. The pump sits on the floor next to the heater and the outlet comes out the top. When I called the water heater installer (Norm) he asked what I wanted to do about it. I said I didn't think there was anything I could do; he quickly said "thanks and good bye". Stay away from this company.
