I went to the minute clinic at 9101 Hwy 6 North Houston, Tx.I had a respiratory infection and cough for about a month.

I felt like *** and tired of coughing so I went to the clinic and was seen by Cristina Carrillo. I told her what was going on so she started checking my ears, nose, throat and head. After a few minutes of this I reminded her it was my lungs where I had the issue. So she listens to my chest and tells me that she hears noises in my chest and that my left heart valve is stuck and I need to get to the ER!!!!!!!!!!

I again tell her that I have some kind of chest infection and am coughing up flem. Now she is wanting to call an ambulance. At this point I have to walk out and go to another walk in clinic. They immediately tell me I have a common virus that is going around and prescribe me a 5 day prescription Z-pack.

WARNING the Minute clinics are not ran by doctors so they cant give prescriptions.Go to a true walk in clinic.

On 04/02/16 around 12 PM I decided to get Hepatitis A vaccination shots for me and my husband. The nurse practitioner wasn't friendly at all.

All my questions about suggested vaccinations for adults have been answered the following way: go to an official healthcare.gov site or to your doctor and get all the information as I don't have any information about it at all.

She took the vaccines and opened them without putting on gloves.

Only when I asked her about gloves she said she would put them on before making the shots.Very unprofessional and dangerous attitude.

My husband went in for a sinus infection at 5:00 on a Saturday. The extremely arrogant, rude and unprofessional NP lectured him that he needed to see an ENT and that antibiotics would not solve his problem. She told him he needed to see his doctor. OBVIOUSLY, we wouldn't have gone to the minute clinic if our doctor was open at 5:00 on Saturday. Bottom line, when you're sick, the last thing you want is to have a medical "professional" be nasty, rude and downright mean to you. We ended up leaving and visiting the urgent care down the street. They were quick, courteous and gave my husband a prescription for an antibiotic. AND, they were cheaper. I will never set foot in the CVS Minute Clinic on Cincinnati-Dayton Rd. in West Chester, OH again. The NP that we dealt with needs a serious attitude adjustment with a heavy dose of bedside manner.

On a recent vacation, I went to the Minute Clinic at 3758 Las Vegas Blvd S in Las Vegas. After a short wait, staff took one look at my leg and referred me to a nearby urgent care clinic. They didn't even charge me. I appreciated their care and ability to know what is appropriate for them to treat and what is not.

I went to 2 different CVS Minute Clinics with a bad case of bronchitus. After an hour and a half wait for both I spent most of the time answering medical history questions. I believe they all get the same training because they both suggested the same thing. They prescribed me cough suppressants and told me to drink tea and chicken soup. Don't bother going to these Minute Clinics. They will take your money and offer no real help.

worst clinic doc ever

This is at the kildaire farm road Cary nc. she took almost 1 hr with one patient while rest of the 6 people in queue. Then went inside saying she needs to reboot her computer and took another 10 min. Waiting is painful in a clinic called minute specially when you are not feeling so well. Waste of time

Complete waste of time and money! Spent 15 or 20 minutes asking questions about medical history and about 2 minutes checking vitals. Listened to nothing I said. Thanks to the lack of any real medication (over a month ago), I now have same symptoms again. No way will they get another $80 of my money!

Waste of my time.

I was charged to have a scatter brained nurse tell me that even though I was probably sick, she was concerned about the world getting resistant to antibiotics so I should go have some chicken soup. Wasted 2 hours of my time, and then I went to a real doctor who promptly prescribed me antibiotics. I will never go back to CVS.

Never been so disrespected in my life.

Worst clinic experience ever. After witnessing the NP talking down to an amputee in a wheelchair and questioning his intelligence, I should have left. His caretaker also heard this. I went in to be treated for a sinus infection, not to be greeted with sarcasm, hatefulness, and snobbish behavior. "Let me educate you" "since I don't know where your degree is from" and "what's your education level" are NOT appropriate questions to ask when I'm explaining my symptoms. Better suited to treat farm animals that can't talk back.

I should really say -1. Do no...

I should really say -1. Do not go the CVS mini clinics. I went for a cholesterol test and was told I needed to fast 12 hours before I could take the test. I told the "nurse" that I would come back but she said sorry I have opened the kit already so you have to take a blood pressure test. I took a blood pressure exam in the CVS just a few minutes before, for free, in the pharmacy area. So what did I get, a $79 blood pressure screening that I could have done for free. "Nurse" was definetely not aware of what she was doing. What a waste of $79. If you are smart go to a real doctor's office.

Save your money and go to a re...

Save your money and go to a real doctor. I had the same experience as another reviewer who had a sinus infection. I knew it was present, knew I wasn't getting better, but the girl (who looked 17) was so busy clicking a computer screen of "proprietary software" that CVS brags about on their site - that she never really looked much at or listened to me. If the "computer" doesn't tell them how to treat you, there won't be any common sense. Three days later I was in my primary physicians office (which meant a whole day off work) where he told me I had sinusitis and it wasn't going away on its own. TODAY I GOT A BILL for the strep test, even though I am FULLY INSURED. Clearly, the nurse did something wrong in submitting the information for the paperwork or failed to tell me it wasn't covered. Now I need to work through insurance maze. I SHOULD have taken a whole work day and just gone to my REAL DOCTOR. Be forewarned: it might cost you more in time and money in the long run.

DO YOUR HOMEWORK BEFORE YOUR V...

DO YOUR HOMEWORK BEFORE YOUR VISIT... I wish i read the review before my visit... I thought i have to go to the pharmacy anyways so i went to CVS minute clinic in cypress TX (Fry rd) to save time but i was soooo wrong.

Above all else, the woman (i guess nurse) was unprofessional and very very rude. She asks questions as if i am a drug addict, i felt like i was at the police station trying to convince why i need antiboitic for my sinus infection.

I had all the symtom of the infection (as we all know when we have it) and i don't go see doctor unless I have to. After interrogating me with her rudeness, she says i do not needed the antiboitic. I was so mad, i ask her to give me my card back and told her she did not serviced me better not charge me since she did not help me at all. She laughed at me and said they will charge no matter what... i was so mad i felt like crying.

I was so sick that day but CVS minute clinic nurse did not taken care of me. instead she waste my time and gave me stress beyon what i can handle that day.

I called and complain to head office and the lady who answered my call was nice and she says i shouldn't be charged. However, i received a bill for co-pay and they already claim the fee from my insurance company.

I am going to call them again tomorrow and will give you the update on how they handles my case.. I will not pay the co-pay and am willing to go up as high as their president to make this heard.

Again, it is not about money... it is about how they treat their customers especially the sick ones that needs to be taken care of. Read below, i copied from their website... This is what they say about their company...

Caring

Treating people with respect and compassion so they feel valued and appreciated

Integrity

Delivering on our promises; doing what we say and what is right

Accountability

Taking personal ownership for our actions and their results

I was having that problem, too, when I clicked on "read reviews" below the stars. If you look in the yellow (Business Details) section on the left, you'll see another place to click that says "User Reviews." When you click on that area, the reviews will show up.

Best thing ever

It is quick, affordable, and the Nurse practitioners are so much nicer and more willing to help you than regular doctors. You can walk in and out in 30 minutes or less-no appointment necessary (as long as they have not been hit by several customers all at once). They do wellness checks, vaccinations, treat sinus infections, bronchitis, flu, strep, acne, and sooooooo much more. I am convinced that this is one of the systems in health care that has happened in years. I am very happy with these clinics.

Never go to a CVS Minute Clinic Again

Tonight I went to the CVS Minute Clinic for my 4 year old to be seen. I logged into the clinic computer around 6:55 pm. One person was being seen and another was waiting outside. I was walking the store with my daughter until it was our turn. The clinician, a lady, finished with the person ahead of us at 7:35 pm. (It took her 35 minutes + to see 2 people.) She looked at me and said 'we are closed'. I couldn't believe it. She had somehow deleted our name off the computer we had checked in on and she locked up and went home. I sat outside that clinic for almost 50 minutes with a 4 year old and she completely dismissed me. You have no idea how upset I was. Complete disbelief. A very poorly run clinic I wouldn't waste my time with.

Minute Clinic is Better Than Nighttime Peidatrics

I love the convenience of the Minute Clinic in Crofton, MD. I was self-pay, without insurance for years, which is why I inquired about Minute Clinic, and there is no better place to go for diagnosis and treatment for relatively minor issues. I took my son to Nighttime Pediatrics over the summer of 2009, to be tested for strep throat because he had lesions in the back of his mouth, swollen lymph nodes and a fever; I left Waugh Chapel Nighttime Pediatrics so disappointed in their unprofessionalism that I did not trust their diagnoses of "cold" (the staff tried to rush us out the door without even reviewing the results of his test!). Two days later I took my son to Minute Clinic, and in less than 1/2 hour, he was diagnosed with a very contagious virus that Nighttime Pediatrics didn't bother to diagnose other than "cold" - I missed the window of opportunity to minimize the entire household's exposure to my child's very contagious virus - I wouldn't have if I had gone to Minute Clinic. I have health insurance now, and I will still frequent Minute Clinic because I trust them more than any of the other "Clinics" in the area. What to watch out for? I was told to purchase a cough remedy that contained an ingredient that I informed the nurse my son could not tolerate - I'm finding that most medical care givers overlook details like this, it has happened almost everywhere I have taken my child, even hospitals, so I'm not going to say that Minute Clinic is any worse because of it, but double-check this kind of detail with the staff before leaving any medical clinic.

Minute Clinic

I would not recommend wasting my money by going to a minute clinic. Since I have no insurance, I thought that I could save money by visiting a minute clinic instead of a doctor. I went after having been sick for two weeks with a hacking cough and fever, and I could barely function well enough to take care of my two children. I rarely ever get sick, and in fact had not had to go to a doctor for a sick visit in well over two years. I explained to the nurse practitioner that it was uncommon for me to get an illness of this severity and duration. I do have a history of occassional episodes of bronchitis when I was younger, for which I would always need an antibiotic. I told her that this felt like Bronchitis. The nurse practitioner barely listened to me, and in fact interrupted me several times while I was talking to her about my history and present illness. She proceeded to lecture me about viral illnesses and the ineffectiveness of antibiotics in treating them (as if I didn't already know that). She then sent me home with an over the counter medicine. Two days later I ended up in the ER with severe Bronchitis, and pneumonia in one lung, plus a huge doctor bill. A prescription for Zithromax had me well two days later. If you are ill enough to seek care, do not waste your money at a minute clinic. The nurse practitioners there treat you like you are uneducated, and then don't treat your illness at all.
