We hired Midwest Sound & Light and paid them $500 to entertain at our daughters wedding reception. The dj sat in his chair all night and texted. He did not interact with the guests at all. He was totally unprepared even though we wrote all the instructions down for him weeks before. We had to constantly show him what to do. He didnt play the songs we requested. We didnt expect perfection, people do make mistakes, but the whole evening was a disappointment because of his unpreparedness and lack of interest. Our daughter was upset, this was her wedding day, and even our guests commented how unprofessional this dj was. We complained to Mr. Swanner (the mgr?) and his communication was poor. We asked for a partial refund but he refunded only $100, a month later. We would not recommend this company for any social event.
