Hoping very much that they can resolve my heating issues next week... I've had issues with consistent heat since February. They installed a new unit in February and now in October it still doesn't produce heat...

Please NEVER use this company!!! We were under contract (thought that meant preferred service) and are now on day 10 without heat! The lack of communication combined with total incompetence have been mind blowing! I am blown away by the lack of caring.

Louis installed the HVAC unit ...

Louis installed the HVAC unit that came with our home 8 years ago. Since then we have paid them thousands of dollars to basically replace all the major components of this system. They have not stood behind their work but have charged us full price at every turn. The only reason we kept using them was the warranty on the original unit then the replacement parts. Their repair technicians are not thorough or skilled in finding the problem and fixing it properly. Our system has never worked properly and Louis does not seem to care enough to stand behind their work. I will not use them again and would not recommend them to anyone else.

Louis Heating and Cooling serv...

Louis Heating and Cooling serviced the unit that came with my home. From the very first summer, we have had trouble cooling our house. We are in the 5th summer and we have had to call this company out to look at our unit each year. each year they tell us the same tired line.s "The AC unit needs to be cleaned" "The filters need to be changed" , another time it was a bad coil, etc ect. now they tell us there may be a freon leak. However they left the issue unresolved citing that it was too hot to go into the attic to check for a leak. While the service tech was at my house, he would often contradict what the owner had already told us. Its like they cannot get their stories straight. The bottom line is that the unit they installed isn't durable enough to keep my house cool when it gets above 85 degrees outside.We don't keep the inside temp below 72 so the unit should be able to reasonably keep up with the weather conditions. However, something fails on the unit every year. If this were a car, I would return it as a lemon.Now that we are out of warranty, Louis wont stand behind his product or service. Louis has simply stalled each year by doing cheap patch work instead of fixing the problem. I would never recommend this company and I will never by another home from a builder that uses this company to service their heating and air units.

Poor Business Practices & Service

This company provided services for me on July 26th. The company installed a compressor in my unit. The service guy was out installing the compressor in 100 degree weather and my outside faucet was used and not turned off by the service guy. Given this faucet is in the back of my house, it is never used. The water stayed on from July 26th - August 9th. I called Louis on August 9th to report this incident and I was told to fax them my receipt when it came in and they would take care of it. I did this, and given they saw that their neglience resulted in a $400 bill, they refused to take care of the charges. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICES AND BUSINESS PRACTICES.



Also, the service rendered at the time was for a compressor. I paid them 85 bucks to tell me what was wrong with my system. One week later my house was still not staying cool. I called the company back out. And they told me that now you need an coil because the outside unit is leaking freon. The compressor was 1500 and now they were telling me I need another 1500+ repair on the same unit that you supposely diagnosed 1 week earlier. If I had known this information, at the beginning, I would have gotten a new system for only an extra 1500, rather than paying 3000 to repair an old one. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.............
