After speaking with and reviewing pricing for electricians, I gave my business to Jonathan's Electric. Mike Armer and his team were prompt, had the best price and cleaned up as they worked. I would refer their services to anyone and would call on them again for any electrical work I may have in the future.

I've always did what I could when it came to minor household electrical work, but my daughter's house finally stumped me. She bought it as a foreclosure when it was roughly 80% complete in the former owner's renovation project. Needless to say, some of the re-wiring left me scratching my head.



I read the reviews for Jonathan's Electric here and since they had the most and best reviews, I had him come by and give me an estimate. I was pleasantly surprised at his estimate and promised time to get the work done. He arrived as scheduled, and did everything I asked in one day, which included replacing the entire power panel, adding two ground poles, fixing numerous outlets and switches, and re-sealing the main power feed line outside.



I'll not only be recommending Mike and his company again, but I'll be going straight to Jonathan's Electric for any future electrical needs.



Update: 12/21/2012. As my previous post indicated, I'd be calling on Jonathan's Electric for future work. As it turned out, I hired him to upgrade my breaker panel as it was full and I had plans to install a second oven (wall oven). I had also installed two crawl-space fans that were temporarily using extension cords. He and his wife came out on a Friday, doing me a tremendous favor with my hectic schedule, and quoted me a price to replace/upgrade the breaker panel, run 220V wiring to the ktichen for the oven, and ran lines with junction boxes for the crawl-space fans. He also added additional 220 breakers to isolate my jacuzzi and generator line (I had them shared on a single breaker, mainly because I knew I'd never run them together). The following Friday they returned and had everything done in less than five hours. The price was reasonable and the quality of work superior.

I've called on Mike for several jobs in my home and each time he did a great job. He's very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. I would recommend him to any of my friends.

Mike did a fantastic job on my laundry list of electrical repairs and upgrades. My house, built in 1933, presented lots of challenges, but he did a great job of presenting me with all the options and doing the job right and within his promised price estimate.



I got quotes from a few companies and I went with Mike for several reasons including the fact that he provided the best value, but also because he and his assistant did all the work themselves and I wasn't handed off to a new crew and did not have to re-explain the job. On one occasion, while I was out of town for an extended period of time, I mailed him a key to my house for an emergency repair and did the job within 24 hours!

We had gotten overcharged before by a big-name company that didnt do a good job - we waited on calling someone else out because of that experience. Now we have found Jonathan's Electric ... we wont hesitate again! We know we will get fair prices, friendly service and a great job done.

What a find!! If you're ever in need of a good, fair and honest, skilled electrician ......call Mike, of Jonathan's Electric. He took care of several electrical problems that I had - for less than 1/2 of the estimated cost provided me by a large electrical group. Add to that the fact(s) that he was prompt, courteous, friendly, and he cleaned up after himself!! See what I mean - What a find!!

Above and BEYOND the best electrician you could ever find! There aren't enough words in my vocabulary to describe how satisfied I was with this company! I was in need of an electrician and a co-worker recommended Jonathan's Electric because of the remarkable service he received. I gave it a try and called to make an appointment. To my surprise they were able to send someone the following morning and a true professional named Mike arrived. He was prompt, courtesous, very knowledgeable, recognized my problem immediately, and gave me some very helpful expert advice. It turned that it was not an electrical problem, so he waived the fee. He truly restored my faith in contractors (coming from one who is always skeptical and untrusting when calling someone to my home). If you are ever in need of an electrician, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you call Jonathan's Electric--Mike was an angel.

I called to schedule an appointment, never expecting to get an appointment on the same day. The appointment was set up for 4:30, but the tech (Mike), arrived at 4:00 and he waited until I got home.

Mike is wonderful. He is fast and he explained in detail what the problem was. I am a person that is very skeptical of everybody, because in this day and age, everybody is out to make a quick buck, whether it's done right or not, so it's hard to trust anybody.

After he was done, I was pleased. I will continue to use this company whenever I need anything done

I hired Jonathon's Electric for the 5 star ratings and reviews and I was not at all disappointed. The electrician, Mike Armer was an hour early for the consultation and the actual install. We had undercabinet lighting installed in the kitchen in about 4 hours. Very clean install with no damage. The results speaks for itself.

Workman showed up on time ready to work. Made sure everything was placed where I wanted and made some good suggestions about future projects. We will definitely use these guys again. They didn't hurt the pocketbook.

Installed dedicated circuit for hot tub hardwire. Great, honest service. Mike Armer was very knowledgeable and honest with his recommendations. Our quote was well below what we expected. Early for both estimate and for day of work. Worked with no breaks and left everything as he found it. I had no clean up when he left. I picked Jonathan's Electric based on the great reviews. I was selling my home and the buyer's home inspection report said I needed a licensed electrician to address a few minor issues. My biggest complaint was that when Jonathan's Electric could not find some of the issues written in the report, they went looking for additional issues. Over 25% of the total repair cost ended up being to fix items the inspector didn't even include in the report as problems. I am sure the new home buyers will be happy however I was not excited to pay for extra work.

I highly recommend this company. They were on time, gave me a written estimate (well below what I had estimated), and cleaned up the work area when they were done. What really impressed me was their true professionalism; i.e., I had them install an outlet for my portable generator -- they painted the generator breaker red and inserted a warning next to the generator breaker to open the main house breaker prior to closing the generator breaker. In addition, all of my questions / concerns were answered to my satisfaction. I called them because of the positive statements given to them in Yellow Pages.com.

At 3PM on a Friday I was worried I wouldn't find anyone to come out immediately to diagnose a loss of power througout my GFI circuit (9 plugs in all) but Jonathan's was on the job beofre the sun rose on Staurday. Mike was extremely helpful and educated me in electrical contracting practices which tend to make situations like mine a scavenger hunt due to home builder's barely above code laying out power distibution.



In just a few minutes Mike had found the errant pug (hidden and unused of course) and restored power. Man, did I feel stupid, but he said it happens all the time. That's worth a beer, Mike! I will definitely call on Jonathan's Electric ANY TIME there is a need. They've restored my belief in CUSTOMER SERVICE. Would've gladly given them more than a 5 STARS rating.
