Had this company out a few years ago to fix the foundation of a new home we just purchased. They did a great job (We think) Only time will tell I guess! We decided to use them this summer again to lay a concrete colored, glossed, and stamped patio because we thought we trusted them! They started and finished on multiple days while it was raining. Should of been 1st red flag but we didn?t know. They poured the concrete on 2 separate days and this should of been 2nd red flag! Therefore we have 2 different colored patios. We called around to other concrete people and they said they should of never started while raining and in order for the patio to be the same color it?s a must it should of been poured the same day! Mark then tried to say that by next summer it will all be the same color??? I don?t know how the lighter color was going to magically get darker but those are his words!!! Once we noticed it was 2 different colors we really started looking at the stamping! The stamping was absolutely HORRIBLE! It was uneven, the lines were crooked across the entire patio, and this is a massive patio(900 square feet) going across the back of my entire house. They left spots of sharp rigid concrete that would cut myself and families feet. Mark then is calling us because we haven?t paid him yet. Thank God we didn?t. Mark comes over and I explain my concerns. He won?t take ownership of the patio looking like a DIY patio. He gets defensive. He wants to know what we want to do. 1st we offered him half for a half ass patio laying job. He declined and said he would redo it. I told him I wanted a contract and this contractor Mark told me to write it up and he will sign it? Huh? Your the contractor? He then writes a contract and it says on there we will rip the patio up because the homeowners do not like it and haul all concrete away for free as if he is doing us a favor??? Again never taking ownership of their multiple errors! I am talking hundreds of errors!!!! I get we are human and an error or two here and there will happen! The mistakes were everywhere! But We decided to give him a second chance and have him rip it up and place another. He comes over and rips it up. He is now demanding a contract stating that the concrete will heave and crack and he will not be responsible for it. We already don?t trust the guy after his last job placing the patio. He wanted $13,800 for a job that was horrible! Did I mention that part of the patio wasn?t even glossed??? We told him we decided to go with another company. Would never recommend them! If they did your stamping for a patio, I would really go look at it!!! Better Business Bureau here we come!!!!

I used J&M for waterproofing my basement. They were super professional, did EXCELLENT work, worked hard, were extremely clean, and communicated with me very well. They also were the most competitive bid I received! I highly, highly recommend them!

It was more than a month before J&M could schedule our job, but they were worth the wait! The crew was professional and got the job done a day and a half early. Mark, the owner, was on site every day and always gave us a status update before they left for the day. They cleaned up well and it looks great.

They were very thorough and did everything that they said they were going to do. They were professional, friendly, and personable. The quality of their work was good and I was satisfied with their service.

Mark was prompt in responding and meeting to proide an estimate of work thorough in his evaluation. He provided several options with costs to approach the entire and complete project and as well in scheduling. Once agreeing on the scope of work, aquiring city permit and scheduling, everything went as expected, no schedule delays or surprises. Mark was on the job with the crew everyday, thorough clean-up at end of day and was sure to let us know nightly upon leaving when to expect the following day. Mark and crew were very professional, courteous and we were more than pleased with the results. Thank you for the great job performed!
